Experience counts — especially when it comes to brain and spine surgery. Our group was founded in 1958 by the first neurosurgeon in the Hudson Valley. Today, we have seven Board-certified neurosurgeons and one Board-certified spinal orthopedic surgeon, who practice leading-edge medicine. In our group, you will find surgeons recognized as among the nation’s “Top Doctors,” as well as heads (past and present) of neurosurgical departments, who hold academic appointments at major university teaching centers.

Each year, we evaluate nearly 2,400 new patients and perform approximately 900 procedures — the volume of care one finds in a major medical center — but with the warmth of a private practice. Your doctors deliver care personally and directly, assisted by a caring staff who are responsive and supportive throughout the entire process.

Our team approach and on-site diagnostic capabilities allow us to accurately diagnose complex brain and spine conditions with the latest biomedical technology. We draw upon our outstanding education, training, experience, and skill to perform the most challenging surgeries.  In almost all cases, two of our surgeons are present in the operating room — a significant factor in achieving successful outcomes.

If you are not a candidate for surgery, we can refer you to our non-surgical medical practice, SPINE OPTIONS, which combines medical, physical therapies, and holistic treatments to relieve pain and help you regain function. SPINE OPTIONS also can help you manage pain prior to any procedure and provide post-operative rehabilitation, if necessary.
