In practice for more than 20 years, Dr. Kent Duffy is a veteran neurosurgeon with board certification in neurological surgery.
Dr. Duffy is known for his patient-focused approach to medicine. He enjoys getting to know his patients, and taking the time to make sure they not only fully understand their conditions, but also their treatment options. If surgery is recommended, he educates his patients on the procedure, post-op recovery, and physical therapy, if needed.
Dr. Duffy received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Neurological Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center and Affiliates.
In addition to his position with BSSNY, Dr. Duffy is also an Assistant Professor New York Medical College’s Department of Neurosurgery. He is the author of numerous abstracts and is a prolific presenter. Dr. Duffy is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY; Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, Bronx, NY; Sound Shore Medical Center, New Rochelle, NY; White Plains Hospital, White Plains, NY; Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, NY; and several others.
